Warchal Ametyst Violin Strings are great value synthetic quality strings suitable for students on a tight budget. Ametysts offer a slightly brighter and more focussed sound compared with the Karneol range yet with plenty of colour and still with a very playable lower tension Ametyst strings will improve most violins and can actually go some way to even out an irregularly toned student violin. These strings are the only Warchal product currently available in fractional sizes, 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8.

The E string is stainless steel and is available with a Ball or Loop end.
